Yoga and Mindfulness for Men - Movember Event

Time: 4pm - 5pm
Location: Online via Zoom
Investment: Any donations to Movember event appreciated
It has been a year of monumental challenges and hurdles. COVID-19 upended normality, and it’s having a huge impact on millions of lives across the world. Physical distancing has wreaked havoc on factors that are so often at the root of poor mental health among men: social isolation, job loss, financial insecurity, relationship breakdown, stress and anxiety. And it’s made one thing wildly clear: our work in mental health is more important than ever.
For the wellbeing of men and in support of Movember, Yoga Cave are hosting a special YOGA and MINDFULNESS class - with all proceeds going to MOVEMBER.
Mo Bros - we'll show you YOGA and MINDFULNESS from a male lens. And no, you don't have to be able to touch your toes to join this class. Our intention is to demonstrate how YOGA and MINDFULNESS practices are an effective outlet to lean on in tough times.
Never done yoga before?
Trust us, you won’t be the only one. This class is tailored for men and beginners, you will be well supported.
Don’t have a yoga mat?
No problem, you can do it on carpet or a rug in the living room.
Where will this be held?
The session will be held online via Zoom, so that you can join us from the comfort of your own home.
Mo Sisters - we encourage you to join in and support the men in your lives. Grab your loved ones and do the class together! Because suffering in silence costs lives. And while there are no quick solutions to the men’s mental health crisis, there are steps we can all take right now to help improve the emotional wellbeing of the men in our lives.
Your Instructor Ryan Chhajed
This class will be facilitated by Ryan. Ryan is a qualified Yoga and Mindfulness teacher. According to Ryan, the yoga mat is a great place to find a sense of contentment, self-awareness, and mind body connection. Ryan believes that yoga is not a "one size fits all" practice, and that every person is on a different path. As such he finds immense joy, satisfaction, and inspiration in seeing students discover their own personal yoga journey and hopes to nurture and encourage them along the way.
