If you’re new to yoga, we'd recommend Slow + Yin classes as a good place to start. This class moves at a slower pace and includes stretches that can help you ease your body into yoga.
You could also explore Morning Practice, Slow Flow, Yin Yoga or Mat Pilates, as these classes are easier to follow along.
We also offer 1:1 private classes which could be helpful to you, especially if you have any injuries or health related concerns.
We do suggest that you try out a few of the above mentioned classes, before venturing Power Flow, as it is a dynamic and fast paced practice.
Visit class styles for more information. If you're still unsure, please contact us to have a chat.
We highly encourage you to book in advance for the classes that you are attending to avoid missing out if the class is full.
If there are no bookings for a class, we may cancel the class on the day.
We are doing everything we can to make sure we provide a safe space to practice. We are taking our health and safety procedures seriously. We are keeping a watchful eye on announcements and recommendations from Australia government health officials. We are ready to take further action as advised.
Here's a summary of our approach:
All public classes are limited to 15 people per class. Mat spaces are marked out to ensure social distancing
Hygiene practices are in place
All teachers have completed the COVID19 Infection Control Training
We kindly ask you to:
Stay home if you are unwell, or displaying any cold or flu like symptoms or have been in contact with a positive case
Bring your own yoga mat
Respect the social distance with other participants in studio
Sanitise or wash your hands as you enter the studio, and after your practice
Please cough or sneeze into a tissue or your elbow
We've made booking a class easy and convenient. Here's how to book your spot:
On our website via the timetable page, or
Momence app on mobile or tablet. Download the free Momence app from the App Store for iPhone or Play Store for Android phone. Note: You must have an account with Yoga Cave before we appear in the Momence app
We recommend using the Momence mobile app to manage your classes, manage your account and to view on-demand videos.
Class cancellations can be made via the Momence mobile app or in your upcoming events in Momence account management.
We understand life circumstances may sometimes interfere with your plan to visit. We accept class cancellations up to 2 hours before the class start time, without forfeiting your pass. Please note that we do not accept cancellations over the phone, email or social media.
If you are on single visit or class pass who cancelled within 2 hours before class or failed to attend will forfeit the class. If you are on intro offer or membership, you may be charged a $10 late cancellation fee or $15 no show fee. More information about cancellation policy
Please discuss any injuries or health concerns with the teacher before class begins. The teacher can offer appropriate modifications to make sure you have a safe and comfortable practice.
We also encourage you to consider a 1:1 private class. In a private session, the teacher creates a session tailored to your bodies needs and takes the time to explore or observe your bodies reaction, which can be challenging to do in a group class.
Studio Classes
On your first visit, we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled class time. This will allow you to check in with the teacher to discuss any injuries or health concerns and give you a chance to get familiar with the studio.
On your subsequent visits, please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the class start time to set up your mat and get settled.
Doors open 15 minutes before the scheduled class time.
Doors are locked 1 minute before class begins, for security reasons.
While we understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may delay your arrival to class, please be aware that we strictly prohibit late students from entering after the class has commenced. Late arrivals disrupt the energy of the space and the teacher, which greatly affects how others experience their practice.
Online Classes
We recommend joining the online class 5-10 minutes before the start time to make sure you're all set up and there's no technical issues.
Wear light and comfortable clothes such as activewear that will allow you to stretch and move with ease.
Yoga mat - If you don't have one, we have yoga mats available to purchase in studio
Water bottle to stay hydrated
Face towel
There are plenty of 2 hours street parking on Wadham Parade and all day parking along the train line on Miller Cres.

We recommend turning on your camera, but only if you feel comfortable. If the teacher can see you, they can provide you with much better audio cues. You'll also have a more connected experience with the teacher and others in the class.
If you are joining us in-studio, you will not appear on camera. Only the teacher will be filmed.
Our professional setup using state of the art technology allows us to run in studio and virtual classes at the same time while respecting your privacy.
Even though we are sad to see you go, we understand circumstances change.
