Sherlyn is a true believer that yoga can help make the world a better place.
Born in Malaysia, Sherlyn moved to Australia in 2006 to pursue higher education. After completing her Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne University, Sherlyn began climbing the corporate ladder, taking on a variety of highly challenging and stressful corporate jobs for over 10 years.
Living a chaotic and busy lifestyle, Sherlyn found a great sense of comfort and peace in the practice of yoga and mindfulness meditation. This ignited her interest to join yoga teacher training with Yoga Flame Moonee Ponds in 2016. Since then, Sherlyn has completed further Yin Yoga trainings with Sarah Powers and Bernie Clark.
As Sherlyn's practice evolved, Sherlyn feels that yoga has immeasurable value in how she lives her life. She has witnessed how her personal yoga practice has helped her to soften her edges, as well as strengthen her feelings of kindness and connection towards others.
Yoga Cave is Sherlyn's dream come true. She is passionate about creating a space for people to experience the gift of yoga. Sherlyn's classes emphasise on using yoga to unravel the stress build up from the modern life and to rejuvenate the body, mind and soul; so that we can give ourselves wholeheartedly to this life and be of enormous benefit to all beings.
